A mixed bag

Hudson Falls is an old upstate town struggling to find it's identity. There are lots of gorgeous old homes but many more not-so-nice large houses that have been made into apartments. With little industry, property taxes are murder. Banks abound but many other services require a trip to nearby Glens Falls, which is a great little city. There is not much to do in Hudson Falls but it is an inexpensive and relatively safe place to live. The police force is top notch and very quick to answer a call for help. Though the people here lack sophistication, they are helpful neighbors and I have lived here in peace.
